Hello, my name is Carina and I run a local swimming school offering small group classes (1-4 ratio) at a private indoor pool in Tring. I am passionate about teaching children in a safe, warm, friendly environment whilst building water confidence.

I am an accredited Swim England Coach and have been teaching for over 20 years
I teach the Swim England Learn to Swim programme and Water Skills Awards, Speed and distance swimming. Covering the 4 main strokes.
I assess each child individually and aim at improving water confidence and developing their technique. I ensure that lessons are fun and challenging and set targets for each child to achieve.
Learn to Swim Programme
These targets lead to an award of a badge and certificate which celebrates their achievements using the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme whilst learning the four main strokes, front crawl, breastroke, backstroke and butterfly with a focus on excellent technique.
Children progress from non swimmers to competent swimmers.
Serving families across Tring, Aston Clinton , Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Berkhamsted, Chorleywood.
Water Safety awards 1 - 3.
Children learn how to keep safe in the water.
How to seek help and ways to attract attention.
Lesson Information
Intensive and term time lessons are available.
I aim to get children swimming 5 and 10 meters in deep water quickly and safely progressing on to Swim England Awards scheme while learning stroke technique.
Swimming lessons take place during school term time, and intensive swimming courses and the BSAC Snorkelling Course take place during the school holidays. Lessons last 30 minutes.
