  • “My son Matthew has been learning to swim with Carina for a year now. Matthew hated being in water, to the point of having tantrums at bath time, so I felt it would be better for him to learn to swim in a smaller group size. Due to Matthew’s lack of confidence in the water, there were many times when he didn’t want to swim at all. Carina is firm and calm with him and is able to know when to push him or back off depending on what mood he is in on the day. Even though it hasn’t been easy for Carina to get Matthew off of armbands, he is now able to swim 10 metres and he is confident in the water, making family trips to the pool a fun experience now and not an ordeal.”
